A ROMANTIC WINERY WEDDING

With the vision of incorporating their passion for wine and food, Kevin and Kristen's wedding was the epitome of rustic romance.

Held at the gorgeous Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery in the historic village of St. David's, Ontario, the backdrop to their wedding was a picture perfect setting in the Niagara peninsula.

Gorgeous florals (Roses & Twine Floral Studio) in romantic whites and blush pink, and custom chair draping, signage, seating cards and programs by Lê Fêtes helped to set the whimsical mood for the ceremony.

Special touches as requested by the bride and groom were spread through all facets of the wedding:

• a custom-made wine barrel engraved with their initials and wedding date for envelope

• a custom guestbook using polaroids and washi tape

• colour coordinated pashmina shawls for guests

• marquee letters

• custom ceremony programs

• custom menus and place settings

• photos displaying special moments as a couple

• custom signage for table seating

• custom signage throughout the ceremony and reception

• signature cocktails for both the bride and groom, and the Dog of Honour

• specially curated menu for the cocktail reception and dinner
  

Guests were treated to Pear & Riesling jam from Provisions Food Company to match the winery theme. A plethora of candles throughout the reception enhanced the romance for the evening and custom made wood-stained table numbers added to the rustic backdrop.

The bride and groom also wanted to ensure that their puppy, Luna, had a prominent role in the wedding. As dog of honour, Luna participated in the wedding ceremony with grace, and all children at the wedding received cookies created in her likeness as their wedding favours. The cocktail reception also featured a non-alcoholic cocktail - "Luna's Lemonade".

Last, but not least, the groom planned one more surprise for the day. To commemorate their hometown NBA Champions, The Toronto Raptors, the happy couple unveiled a large Raptors flag as they made their entrance into the reception - a fitting tribute for the team from one of their biggest fans.
